  1. 1 Guatemala’s agricultural productivity is high, but the reuse rate of agricultural solid waste is low and there is a lack of innovative technologies for proper recycling and reuse, which have resulted in large amounts of greenhouse gas emissions and contributed to global warming.
  2. 2 The Guatemalan plastic raw material and plastic product industries are still using petrochemical raw materials, resulting in a large amount of carbon emission pollution.
  3. 3 The poor investment environment makes it difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to obtain loans from banks, and the lack of employment conditions and job opportunities has resulted in an exodus of the local workforce from Guatemala, which has affected the growth of the local GDP.

  1. 1/ CCILU's exclusive patented technologies and innovative material technologies are able to up-cycle discarded PET bottles and agricultural and wastes into functional and sustainable raw materials.
  2. 2/ Selling environmentally friendly raw materials to Guatemala and neighboring countries, upcycling them into sustainable commodities that are full of energy, and increasing Guatemala's carbon power.
  3. 3/ Through recycling and production processes till sales, systematic civic education on knowledge of Circular Economy, as well as the export of ECO raw materials and technologies, the ECO transformation of the plastics industry will increase the financing strength of SMEs!

    Establishment of a 3,000-square-meter factory for recycling coffee grounds in Guatemala.

    Recycling of 2,000,000kg of coffee grounds from the Guatemala coffee industry's business waste to reduce the amount of coffee grounds going to landfill.
  3. 3 Transforming the local plastic industry to sustainability industry
    CCILU produces 500,000kg of ECO materials.
